SEOUL, 6 Dec- The seven members of the Kpop group, Bangtan Sonyeondan had launced their own personal account with verifying on instagram for the first time in almost eight years since their debut in 2013 and in just two days they've already racked up to eighteen millions and above of followers.
BTS known as the Bangtan Boys that was formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment whereby now is named HYBE corporation. The group are made up of seven members which included Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook. Their popularity had been rocketed to global stardom until everyone is addicted to their songs.
Over the years, the group have produced material around various themes starting with the 'School' trilogy but all this years, they don’t have their own personal account on social media due to protection their own privacy from any malicious comments and also anti-fans. The members only depends on their official group that managed by the company to update their recent activities. This is the first time they have opened separate accounts on the platform media although they did so without notice, each had amassed about 18 million followers each member.
Based on the statement given by The HYBE entertainment, "The members opened up their own Instagram accounts to further express their individuality and also have various ways in which they communicate with their fans."
Meanwhile, it was announced that BTS would be officially taking time off and taking a long-term break. After completing their LA concert 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ from November 27 to 28 and December 1 to 2. Thereafter, BTS completed this year's schedules with the '2021 Jingleball Tour.'
“ I’ve had been waiting so long for them to open their own instagram account so that we as an army can keep in touch with our oppa and their recent updates about their life although I cannot meet them face to face”, said by XinYu, one of the BTS fans.
Another BTS Army, Irene stated that, “ I’m too excited until I’m cry to tears as soon as they announced BTS members had open up their own social account. In upcoming days, I will keep an eye to follow up their stories and like their posting without non-stop”.
As we can see that, BTS fans are expecting them to stay in touch, though, especially since they now have their own Instagram accounts. The artists only follow each other and the group's official account, which is used mainly as a promotional tool. Now, with the creation of their IG accounts, the members have another opportunity to showcase their individual personalities and fans are already loving it by showing their consideration to enjoy their daily lives.
This period of rest will provide the members of BTS who have tirelessly committed themselves to their activities, a chance to get inspired and recharge with creative energy. It will also be the first time for them since their debut to spend the holiday season with their families.
