JAYA SHOPPING CENTER, 12 May - On Mother's Day，Mom Me Time Bazaar hosts a delightful event, a unique bazaar located at the school by Jaya one offering a variety of free craft activities, artisanal food and drink mini workshops and a variety of restaurants to explore, making it the perfect destination for family and friends to celebrate this special occasion.
The Mom Me Time Bazaar is more than just a market, it's an experience. With a focus on creativity and fun, the market offers a variety of craft activities for visitors of all ages. From making personalized cards to creating beautiful flower arrangements, there is something for everyone to try. And all raft activities are free, allowing visitors to make meaningful gifts for Mum without spending too much money!
‘‘We wanted to create a space where people could come together to celebrate the love and joy of Mother's Day,”said Younee Wong, one of the organizers of the Mummy Me Time Market.
“By offering free craft activities and mini workshops, we hope to provide a fun and memorable experience for family and friends,’’she said.
In addition to the craft activities, Mummy Time Market also offers not-to-be-missed artisanal catering mini-workshops, where participants can learn the art of creating delicious treats from local artisans. From chocolate making to biscuit decorating, these workshops provide hands-on experience for food lovers of all ages.
‘‘We are excited to showcase our passion for food and share our culinary expertise with the community,’’ said James Tan, a local pastry chef who led one of the catering workshops.
‘‘Our workshops are designed to be informative and interactive, allowing participants to learn new skills and techniques while having fun,’’ James said.
“I love attending events like Mom Me Time Bazaar,” said Linda Lim, a stallholder selling handmade crafts.
“It's a great opportunity to connect with customers and share my passion for crafting. Plus, it's always great to see the smiles on people's faces when they find the perfect gift for their loved ones,’’she said.
In addition to craft events and workshops, Mummy Me Time Market also offers a tantalizing array of artisanal dining options, such as delicious cupcakes, handmade chocolates and more for visitors to enjoy.

Among the visitors to the Mom Me Time Market were students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) who shared their excitement for the event and their plans to celebrate Mother's Day.
“I think it's great to organize an event like this where I can make handmade gifts for my mother, and its also great way to show our appreciation for everything our mothers do,” said Jiang xi, an economics student at UKM.
Similarly, Liang Jing another 19-year-old business student from UKM, had fun exploring the craft booths and trying out the craft activities.
Liang Jing said: “Mother's Day is a special day when we can show our appreciation to the women who raise and care for us, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to create something meaningful for my mum and celebrate her love.”
As the day wore on, the Mom Me Time Market buzzed with activity as visitors immersed themselves in craft activities, catering workshops, and dining experiences. With its unique blend of creativity and food, the market offers an enjoyable way for families and friends to come together and celebrate the spirit of Mother's Day.
