BANGI,21 MAY- Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia will soon open a free campus bus service on the Southville City route. This new route will run once every day at 8am, 12pm and 4pm. Except on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

This service is only for UKM students and the ride is free. Passengers must show a valid student certificate when riding to enjoy the free ride service. To maintain a clean and hygienic environment, eating is prohibited on the bus, and passengers are urged to keep the space clean and orderly.

LuJingJing, who lives in Savanna, was interviewed and said, “I have been looking forward to the campus bus coming to Southville City to pick us up for a long time, and I have also filled out the questionnaire on the UKM campus bus service. Great, it is finally coming.”

She added, “Every time we have a class in the morning, we have to start looking for a taxi more than an hour in advance, because 7 to 10 am is the peak time for taxis, and it takes a long time to get a taxi.” ‘

“Although sometimes we are lucky to wait for more than 10 minutes to get a taxi, it will take more than 10 minutes for the driver to come to our place. Sometimes we are unlucky and still can’t get a taxi when there are only a few minutes left before class. This is very bad, very sad, and very dramatic.” Lu Jingjing said.

Another enthusiastic student Wu Junke who heard the news said, “The free bus provides a convenient way of transportation, making it easier for students and faculty to reach the campus, saving us time and money.”

“Providing free bus service can reduce the unsafe factors for students and faculty due to traffic accidents or walking to the campus.” Wu Junke said.
