KUALA LUMPUR, 11 Dec - Apple Store has been a popular topic in Malaysia recently and Apple Inc. is set to make its Malaysian debut with the opening of the first Apple Store in the latest shopping mall, The Tun Razak Exchange TRX mall in Kuala Lumpur, generating uncountable excitement among local residents and technology enthusiasts to experience the first Apple store in the Malaysia.

Apple Store is a chain of retail stores owned and operated by Apple Inc. The stores sell various Apple products, including Mac personal computers, iPhone smartphones, iPad tablet computers, Apple Watch smartwatches, Apple TV digital media players, software, and both Apple-branded and selected third-party accessories. The Apple store will be located at The Exchange TRX and potential launch in early 2024.

The Apple store designs were shared online. Some speculated that the white square-ish structure could be Malaysia's first Apple Store. The reason is that the rooftop could be an inspiration for a packeted nasi lemak. Apple stores tend to be uniquely designed just like the Apple Marina Bay Sands store in Singapore as well as India's Apple Store with traditional Mumbai wall designs.

The Apple store will soon open in The Exchange TRX and the mall is located on Jalan Tun Razak and is the gateway to the Tun Razak Exchange financial district. Local residents have high expectations from the first Apple store.

Aminah Abdullah, 26 said, ‘I'm really excited about Apple opening its first store in Malaysia! The store will likely offer services such as technical support, product repairs, and assistance from offical Apple experts.’

According to Mr Kevin Tie, 25. ‘TRX is currently the only financial and trade centre in Malaysia. I have high expectations for the service level of the first Apple store compared to other retailers and even hope for exclusive products in the store.’

The store's opening is predicted to draw attention to the local economy which will boost the retail industry around the area, especially the apple retailer. This is a positive boost to the local economy.

Manager of Switch branches Mytown, Mr Kong said, ‘The Apple store opening in TRX mall is because the demand of the apple product is rising and the Apple brand has been consolidated in the Malaysia market quite some times and it's for consumer good also.’

The first Apple Store will be open at TRX around early of 2024 and is expected to attract a large number of customers and media attention. This is a big milestone for the Apple brand and it will continue to grow in popularity in Malaysia.
